Discussion:
Winds have calmed across the region, but with clear skies, it is a chilly start this morning with temps in the 20s and 30s. We’ve got a gorgeous Valentine’s Day on tap with sunny skies and highs reaching the low 60s this afternoon. Clear and cold tonight with temps falling back into the upper 30s. We’ll remain dry through the end of the week with above-average highs reaching the low to mid-60s throughΒ Friday. A cold front will bring low-end rain chances back to the region Saturday for the Piedmont and the potential for light ice/snow for the highest elevations. Temps will fall back about 10 degrees below average with overnight lows tumbling below freezing through early next week. Temps will rebound back near 60 on Monday.
