Shipwreck From 1940 Found In Lake Superior
New underwater video shows a shipwreck found in Lake Superior. By using remote sensing data, a researcher discovered the ship which sank in 1940.
According to the Great Lakes Shipwreck Historical Society the 244-foot bulk carrier, named the Arlington, was fully loaded with wheat. The ship ran into a storm which eventually resulted in the ship taking on water. Everyone got off the ship safely, except the captain.
