Weather Discussion

Sunny and Seasonable (Today)
Waking up to clear skies and chilly temps in the 20s and 30s this morning. Highs will reach the upper 50s to low 60s this afternoon under sunny skies. High pressure will begin to scoot east, allowing winds to transition out of the south tonight. Overnight lows won’t be as chilly as clouds begin to fill in. More clouds build in Thursday with temps climbing into the mid 60s.
Warming up, Rain Chances Increase Late Week (Thursday – Friday Night)
A cold front will approach from the west increasing rain chances overnight into early Friday. Not a lot of moisture to work with, so rainfall totals will remain under 1/2″. A few rumbles possible Friday morning, but severe threat will remain limited. Temps will remain warm Friday afternoon into the mid to upper 60s. Drier air will sweep in late with temps falling overnight. Brief opportunity for snow across the highest elevations with accumulations less than 1″.
Dry and breezy weekend, spring feels early next week (Saturday – Tuesday)
The weekend will be dry and breezy post front. Increased fire danger possible as relative humidity levels fall. Another cold front arrives Sunday, but without much moisture to work with, rain not likely. Temps warm next week into the low 70s with spring-like feels. We will need to watch for potential storms Tuesday, but a little too early to pin down any specifics,Β but it will be something to watch.
