CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A 45-year-old Charlotte man will serve 20 years in prison for repeated offenses of child sex abuse crimes, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Jose Emilio Alvarado Ochoa will serve two decades in prison followed by 30 years of supervised release. He will also have to register as a sex offender once released.
Evidence revealed that Alvarado Ochoa uploaded child pornography to his Dropbox account. Some of the images and videos he uploaded showed him sexually abusing a minor, investigators said.
Alvarado Ochoa was found to be in possession of at least 600 images and videos containing child pornography.
