Clouds will increase today with temps warming into the mid 60s this afternoon. It will begin get breezy this afternoon with winds 10-15 mph and gusts up to 25 mph. A cold front will approach the area overnight with showers and a storm or two moving into the region from west to east through Friday morning. Temps will remain mild overnight, only falling into the low 50s, highs will remain mild into the low to mid 60s during the afternoon. Winds will begin to transition out of the NW 10-15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph as clouds clear through the day Friday after the cold front clears the area.
Mostly clear and cooler Friday night with lows falling into the 30s. A clipper system will dive into the region Saturday. This will bring snow showers for the mountains with a dusting up to an inch or two above 3500′. Scattered showers and a storm, or two possible for the foothills and Piedmont during the afternoon. Afternoon emps will range from the 30s in the mountains to the mid 50s across the Piedmont.Β Drying out and cooler on Sunday. Temps will range from the 20s in the morning to the mid 50s during the afternoon. Early next week highs will soar into the upper 60s to lower 70s. Scattered showers will pop up mid-week. We will need to watch for a strong system that could bring a severe threat Wed/Thu for the region.
