Cooler Weekend Ahead Of Warm Up Next Week
Strong coast to coast storm next week will bring several states a severe weather threat
Forecast:
Tonight: Isolated showers are possible mainly in the mountains between 7 pm – 10 pm. Mostly clear. Low: Near 40.
Saturday WeatherWise Alert: Breezy and a bit cooler, but average. A burst of snow is likely across the Mountains with 1-3” mainly in higher elevations. Widely scattered rain is possible in the Piedmont in the afternoon. Wind: W 5-15 mph.
Sunday: Sunny and cooler. A freezing morning with temperatures warming into the low to mid 50s.
Next Week: Temperatures warm into the mid 70s by mid-week. A strong system will move across the country midweek next week. This will likely bring severe weather to several states. As of Friday evening, we do not have a severe weather threat for next week, but we will keep a close eye on it.
