CMPD Releases 911 Calls After Protesters Shut Down I-85, Break Into Tractor Trailers
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — CMPD released several 911 calls after protesters shut down I-85 and started breaking into tractor trailers that were stuck on the interstate.
The protests began Tuesday evening after the shooting death of Keith Lamont Scott. Scott was shot and killed by a CMPD officer.
Two nights of violent protests followed the fatal shooting. Numerous buildings in the University area and Uptown Charlotte were damage during the riots.
