UNDATED (AP) — There are three games on today’s NHL playoff schedule. The first is taking place in St. Louis as the Blues entertain the Blackhawks leading 1-0. This evening it’ll be Game 2 for the Penguins and Blue Jackets as well as for the Wild and Colorado.

UNDATED (AP) — The NBA playoffs begin today with two day games and two at night. On the day side of things the Raptors are playing host to the Nets while the Clippers are home to the Warriors. On tap this evening, the two games feature the Hawks playing the Pacers in Indianapolis while Oklahoma City is home to Memphis in a Western Conference matchup.

SHANGHAI (AP) — Lewis Hamilton clinched the pole today for tomorrow’s Chinese Grand Prix. He was followed by the two Red Bull cars, driven by Daniel Ricciardo (rih-KAR’-doh) and four-time defending world champion Sebstian Vettel (VEH’-tul).

DULUTH, Ga. (AP) — Tour rookie Miguel Angel Jimenez (AHN’-hehl hee-MEHN’-ehz) was the leader heading into second-round play today at the Champions Tour event in Duluth, Ga. He fired a 7-under-65 in the first round and entered today’s play with a three shot lead over defending champ Bernhard Langer, Kenny Perry and Steve Pate.

HILTON HEAD, S.C. (AP) — The second round of the RBC Heritage is being completed before the start of third-round play today. Rain in the Hilton Head area caused play to be suspended yesterday with 65 players on the course. When play was called K.J. Choi was the clubhouse leader at 5-under.
