One Dead, Juvenile Injured In South Carolina Crash

SIMPSONVILLE, S.C. – One person is dead and a juvenile passenger was taken to the hospital following a single-vehicle wreck in South Carolina.

It happened around 11:16 a.m. on Saturday, March 9th.

A Kia SUV was traveling south on Rocky Creek Road, approximately two miles south of Simpsonville.

Police said the vehicle traveled off the left side of the road, hit a guardrail, and overturned before traveling down an embankment.

The driver of the vehicle died as a result of the crash. The juvenile passenger was transported to a local hospital for their injuries. The juvenile’s condition is unclear at this time.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
