Warm Stretch through the End of the Week

AM Headlines:
  • Warm and Sunny Stretch
  • Tree Pollen Getting High
  • Rain and Some Storms Friday
  • Another Round of Storms Sunday
WeatherWise Alert Friday:
Widespread Rain, A Few Storms
Will need to monitor for isolated severe threat
Discussion:
Temps will warm up to the low 70s for much of the region today. High pressure will keep our forecast sunny and dry through Thursday. This will also lead to higher pollen counts. Mulberry, Cedar/Juniper, Maple and Pine counts will be some of the highest as we are entering into peak tree pollen season. A disturbance will bring rain and the threat of thunderstorms Friday. We will have to monitor for an isolated severe threat Friday afternoon into the early evening ahead of the cold front. The boundary will stall keeping isolated rain chances in the forecastΒ Saturday with highs still in the mid 70s during the day. Another front arrives Sunday bringing more widespread rain and a few storms.
