Concord Fire Department Responds To House Fire
CONCORD, N.C. – A house fire in the early morning of March 13, 2024 led to six people being displaced and one person in critical condition, according to a news release.
The release states that the Concord Fire Department responded to a reported house fire at 1:43 a.m. on James St SW. The City of Concord said that firefighters arrived in three minutes to heavy smoke and fire from a single-story home with five residents outside of the home. Firefighters rescued a sixth resident from inside the home and the individual was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, as said in the release.
The release also says that the fire was put out within ten minutes and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
