Human Remains Found In North Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Authorities are conducting a homicide investigation after human remains were found in north Charlotte, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

Officers found the remains in the 400 block of Orchard Trace Lane shortly after 1:45 p.m. on Friday, March 15th. This is adjacent to North Tryon Street and the Interstate 85 connector.

Police said they requested additional search warrants to continue the investigation.

The victim’s identify has not been identified.
