NC Republican Party Headquarters Firebombed Overnight In Orange County
ORANGE COUNTY, N.C. – Officials say a North Carolina Republican Party headquarters office in Orange County was firebombed overnight. Officials say the vandalism at the office on 347 Ja-Max Drive caused major damage and destruction.
There are no injuries in this incident.
The Hillsborough Police Department is currently investigating this incident.
Dallas Woodhouse, executive director of the North Carolina Republican Party, says that they will be requesting additional security at all Republican Party offices and events between now and Election Day to ensure the safety of activists, volunteers, and supporters.
The NCGOP say the explosive device was thrown through the window of the office, and the words, “Nazi Republicans, leave town or else,” were painted on a nearby building.
The NCGOP will hold a Press Conference at the GOP Office in Orange County tonight at 6 p.m.
