SALISBURY, N.C. — K-9 Rex will be retiring from the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office after six years of duty.
Rex and his handler, Corporal Patrick Michael, are currently assigned to D-Squad of the patrol division.
Rex started his career with the Sheriff’s Office in January of 2018. Rex will be living with his handler, Corporal Michael, during retirement.
