JONESVILLE, S.C. – Police are investigating a fatal collision in Union County after a driver lost control of their vehicle and died on Saturday morning.
The crash happened around 8:17 a.m. on Saturday, March 23rd.
The driver of a 2012 Acura was traveling north on Sulphur Springs Road near West Springs Highway just outside of Jonesville.
Troopers said the driver traveled off the roadway to the right, re-entered the road and traveled off the road to the left before striking a tree.
The driver, whose identity has not yet been released, was pronounced dead, officials said.
The investigation into this collision is active and ongoing.
