LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. – Deputies with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office have charged a 43-year-old man with various child sexual assault charges, according to a news release.
The release states that on March 23, 2024, LCSO Detective A. Swim responded to a sexual assault dispatch involving a juvenile and a relative. After an investigation, Detective Swim charged Ricardo Tapia with indecent liberties with a child, statutory sex offense with a child by an adult and sexual activity by a substitute parent or guardian.
