LINCOLNTON, N.C. – One person was taken to the hospital after a shooting in Lincoln County on Wednesday afternoon.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said the incident happened around 6:20 p.m. on Rolling Hills Lane.
The victim suffered a gunshot wound and was taken to Atrium Health-Main.
Authorities identified a possible suspect, who is being interviewed by investigators.
