3 Arrested For The Murder Of A Shelby Toddler And Woman
UPDATE: Police have arrested three people for the murder of Liam Murray, 3, and Miranda Woods, 22, in Shelby Thursday morning.
Officials say Morris Abraham, 30, Mario Wilson, 27, and Aubre Sucato, 22, have all been arrested and charged with two counts of First Degree Murder, one count of Attempted First Degree Murder, Attempted Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon.
A third victim in the shooting, Jerroid Shippy, 31, of Gaffney is being treated at Carolinas Healthcare Systems Cleveland for multiple gunshot wounds.

UPDATE: Neighbors have identified the victims in Thursday morning’s fatal shooting as Liam Murray, 3, and Miranda Woods.
According to neighbors, Woods was not the mother of Murray but was a very close friend of the family.
Early reports said that the shooting was a drive-by, but investigators now say the shooting happened inside a home on Whisnant Street. Investigators say the shooter is still on the loose.
Officials also say a third person, male, was shot during the incident and taken to the hospital, but no further information has been released on that person.
According to a friend’s Facebook page, a fundraiser has already been set up at the Hometrust Bank in Shelby to help the family with funeral expenses for three-year-old Murray.
The fundraiser is listed under the name Liam Murray.

SHELBY, N.C. — Police are investigating after a three-year-old and a woman were shot and killed in Shelby. The shooting happened just after 7am at a home on Whisnant Street.
Police say a man was also transported to the hospital for treatment.
