BURKE COUNTY, N.C. – The Burke County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Caleb Eanes for larceny of a political sign.
Officials say several witnesses stated they saw Eanes take and drive away with a Donald Trump for Election political sign from the roadway at the Rutherford College Early Election Poll Site.
Eanes was taken into custody and confined at the Burke-Catawba District Confinement Facility under a $500 secured bond.
