PINEVILLE, N.C. — A deadly accident has shut down a busy road in Pineville.
Police say 25-year-old Kyle Lord was killed in an accident that happened just before 7am Tuesday morning on Park Road between Highway 51 and Johnston Road.
Investigators say the Lord ran into a sign and his SUV flipped several times. He was reportedly thrown from the vehicle. Police say he was a recent college graduate.
There is no word on when that portion of the road will be reopened. Check back for updates.
