Discussion:
Moisture will begin to stream into the area today with multiple rounds of showers through the day. Rain will move in from the southwest through the morning. Showers taper off tonight as high pressure builds into the south. Highs will reach the low 70s due to extraΒ cloudΒ cover and shwoers. Isolated showers Wednesday with temps back in the mid 70s. A cold front will push east toward the region Thursday. Severe threat will be highest just south of the area, however a few storms could produce damaging wind and hail. Heavy rainfall leading to localizedΒ flooding will also be a concern with 1-2″ of rain possible. Drying out Friday with a dry and warmer weekend. Highs will reach the low 80s by Sunday and push into the mid 80s by early next week.
