Accidental Fire Causes $1.4 Million In Damages
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A fire at a single story building in south Charlotte caused approximately $1.4 million in damages Friday morning.
The Charlotte Fire Department responded to a fire at a building on Carpet Street near Nations Ford Road around 5:45 a.m. Friday. Firefighters controlled the blaze in 50 minutes.
Charlotte Fire said the fire was accidental and started due to an unspecified electrical event in a piece of equipment. The fire caused approximately $1.4 million in damages.
No injuries were reported.
