GASTONIA, N.C. – A car crash has closed all lanes on Interstate 85 South in Gastonia Sunday afternoon.
The highway is closed near Exit 10 at US-29 in Kings Mountain.
According to the North Carolina Department of Transportation, the incident happened just after 4 p.m. NCDOT expects the highway to reopen around 6:07 p.m.
The accident is expected to have a high impact on traffic.
Drivers are asked to follow detours routes as advised by the on-scene officers.
