CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. – A Marine died following a training incident on Thursday afternoon in Carteret County, officials said.
It happened during a training exercise on April 18th. Colin Arslanbas was a member of the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit.
Arslanbas enlisted in the Marines on March 16th, 2020, and earned a promotion to Sergeant on April 1st of this year.
The incident is still under investigation.
No further details were released.
