Chester County Drug Investigation Results In One Arrest
CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. – After a drug investigation by the Chester County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrested Ronald Zarko, according to a news release.
The release states that on April 22, 2024, deputies executed a search warrant and found 12 grams of a substance believed to be fentanyl, 1/2 gram of a substance believed to be methamphetamine and 1/2 gram of a substance believed to be heroin. Deputies also said that they found unknown powdered substances that will be submitted for analysis.
As a result of the investigation, criminal charges were obtained for distribution of crack and distribution of fentanyl, both of which were second offenses. The release also states that warrants are being sought for possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession of methamphetamine, trafficking fentanyl and possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a violent felony.
This is an ongoing investigation that could result in more arrests.
