FDA Warns About Fake Botox

A warning from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration about dangerous counterfeit versions of Botox.

The FDA says at least 19 women between the ages of 25 and 59 have reported harmful reactions in nine states all after receiving Botox injections from unlicensed or untrained people.

Doctors say do your research before making an appointment. They also say when injected properly, patients shouldn’t have problems with the procedure.

There are some common side effects, like redness, injection site pain, or mild headaches.
