Clear skies and chilly temps in the 30s could lead to some patchy frost early this morning for parts of the area. High pressure will help to keep sunny skies in the forecast today as temps warm back into the 70s with winds transitioningΒ out of the southwest. This high pressure system will scoot off the coast later today allowing an opening for a cold front to drop through the region Wednesday. Isolated showers possible, but not a ton of moisture to work with. Best rain chances will extend across our mountain communities with a short lived sprinkle possible nearΒ the 85 stretch through early afternoon. Temps will remain warm with highs still reaching the mid 70s Wednesday. Quiet and dry through the end of the week. Temps will warm into the 80s late into the weekend.
