Heal Charlotte Opens New Campus To Help Families Experiencing Homelessness

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — There is a new resource in Charlotte to help families experiencing homelessness.

Heal Charlotte opened its community campus in north Charlotte on April 24th. The campus that was once a hotel can help up to 100 families.

City Council allocated $6.5M last year for nonprofits whose mission supports housing. Heal Charlotte got $2.5M of that money. The goal of the community center is to help those families get on their feet.

Right now, there are plans to build more campuses like this one across Charlotte.
