CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Police are investigating a shooting after a man was found dead at a southwest Charlotte home early Sunday morning.
The victim was identified as 21-year-old Bryan Miller Eakin.
It happened around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday in the 7800 block of Douglas Drive near Steele Creek Road.
There, officers said they found an Eakin with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Medic.
Police said this case has been labeled a death investigation. Homicide detectives were also called to the scene to investigate.
