CALDWELL COUNTY, N.C. – A former pastor arrested in November 2023 is now facing multiple charges of sexual exploitation of a child and child pornography, according to federal court records.
A news release from the arrest states that Ashley Crouse, 51, had his residence searched due to search warrants of his residence and the New Vision Baptist Church he works at. The release also states that Crouse the warrants were obtained by the Sheriff’s Office after receiving an exploitation Cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

The initial charges were four counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a child, as said by the Sheriff’s Office.
A federal court records now shows that an additional charge of receipt of child pornography has been added.
