CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Police say they arrested a 20-year-old woman for shooting and killing a man in southwest Charlotte. Olivia Cain was arrested and charged with the murder of 21-year-old Bryan Eakin, according to a news release.
Police conducted the death investigation on Sunday, April 28th on Douglas Drive which is off Steele Creek Road.
On Wednesday, May 1st, CMPD officials located and arrested Cain after an investigation determined she was the suspect in the case.
Cain was transported to the Law Enforcement Center in Uptown to be interviewed by detectives. At the conclusion of the interview, she was transferred into the custody of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Murder.
