A procession was held for North Carolina Department of Adult Corrections Officer Sam Poloche on May 3rd. He was a 14-year veteran assigned to the U.S. Marshals Carolinas Regional Fugitive Task Force. He was killed in the line of duty while trying to deliver a warrant to a convicted felon on April 29th in east Charlotte. Learn more about the shooting HERE.
