CHARLOTTE, N.C. – One person died in a suspected fatal drunk driving crash in west Charlotte on Sunday night, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
Police located an unresponsive man in a 2013 Chevrolet Impala on Wilkinson Boulevard just after 10 p.m.
The man, identified as 37-year-old Reginald Singleton, was pronounced dead at the scene by Medic.
Police said speed and impairment were contributing factors in the crash. The toxicology report is pending.
No further details were released. The crash is still under investigation.
