LANCASTER, S.C. – One person died at the hospital following a single-vehicle crash in Lancaster County last Friday.
It happened just before 10 p.m. on Taxahaw Road, approximately eight miles east on Lancaster, South Carolina.
Officials said the driver, operating a 2023 Hyundai SUV, was traveling west on Taxahaw Road. The vehicle went off the left side of the road and struck multiple trees before overturning.
The driver was transported by EMS to a local hospital where they were later pronounced dead.
The driver was the sole occupant. It is unclear if speed or alcohol was involved.
