CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Carolina Beach Bash to benefit Celebrity Charity Wishes is coming to Charlotte. The all-day celebration of the Carolina’s beach music and R&B heritage will take place at the N.C. Music Factory on Saturday, September 6th.
The Kings of Beach Music formerly known as Chairmen of the Board will be headlining and performing familiar tunes such as”Carolina Girls” and “Give Me Just A Little More Time”.
Along with the musical guests, the Charlotte Cruise-Ins will be in attendance displaying a collection of modified, classic rods, and vintage custom cars.
Food and beverages will be available on site including pulled pork from Icehouse Southend, Carolina craft beers, Pepsi products, Budweiser and Bud Light. A commemorative cocktail menu with drinks featuring Fireball Whiskey and Firefly Moonshine flavors will also be available.
The concert portion of the Carolina Beach Bash will be held in the Fountain Plaza Stage area located between the outdoor patios of Osso Restaurant, Wet Willies, and Texicali Restaurant. The day festivities which include the Charlotte Cruise-Ins car show, food vendors, a DJ, and prize giveaways will take place in the main festival lot across from the Filmore and behind Mattie’s Diner.
