CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Police are conducting a homicide investigation after one person was shot and killed in east Charlotte early Sunday morning.
It happened around 5 a.m. Sunday at a residence in the 2200 block of Kilborne Drive near Eastway Drive.
There, police said they located one person suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the hospital where they later died.
CMPD is actively investigating this shooting.
