SHELBY, N.C. – A woman who was reported missing was found dead near the roadside in Kings Mountain, according to a news release.
The release states that on May 14, 2024, Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a call of a deceased person found near the roadside on Cansler St near Shelby Rd.
Deputies say they found Heather Clemons on the roadside who was reported missing on May 13, 2024.
The cause of death is still undetermined and the case is ongoing. Check back for updates.
