CHESTERFIELD, S.C. – One person died in a single-vehicle car crash in Chesterfield County early Sunday morning, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
It happened around 12:30 a.m. Sunday on Bear Creek Road approximately six miles south of Chesterfield, South Carolina.
Officials said a 2008 Pontiac was traveling west on Bear Creek Road near Evans Mill Road. The vehicle went off the right side of the road and struck a ditch before overturning.
The driver was the sole occupant and died at the scene.
No further details were released.
The crash is still under investigation by the SCHP.
