CHARLOTTE, N.C. – I-85 northbound is closed in north Charlotte following a vehicle crash that also sent one person to the hospital.
I-85 is closed near exit 40 at North Graham Street due to the accident that happened around 1 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
The highway is expected to open up around 4 p.m., according to the NCDOT. Drivers are asked to follow directions given by on-scene personnel.
It is unclear how many vehicles were involved or what led up to the crash.
The person injured was transported to Atrium CMC, Medic said.
