CHARLOTTE, N.C. – City of Charlotte Solid Waste Services is experiencing ongoing delays in yard waste collection. The city asks that residents leave yard waste curbside until it is collected.
Solid Waste Services is committed to restoring regular service as swiftly as possible.
Residents are requested to prepare their yard waste according to the Solid Waste Services collection guidelines, place their properly prepared yard waste curbside on their scheduled day, and leave it at the curb until collected. Collection may not occur on their scheduled collection day, but yard waste will be collected as quickly as possible.

Solid Waste Services offers collection updates via text. Residents who wish to receive updates regarding impacts to service can text their collection day to 73224. For example, if their collection day is Thursday, they would text “Thursday” to 73224.
