Matthews Daycare Employee Charged for Indecent Exposure
MATTHEWS, N.C. – An employee at a Christian-based daycare in Matthews was charged with indecent exposure following an alleged incident with a four-year-old child, according to the Matthews Police Department.
Police were notified on May 7th of the incident at Christ Our Shepherd Daycare off West John Street in Matthews.
An arrest warrant was issued for 43-year-old Kairaba Kente Martin after police said they found probable cause of the incident between him and the child during an investigation.
Martin turned himself in on Thursday, May 23rd. He is charged with felony indecent exposure.
Martin received a $7,500 bond, according to the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office.
No further details were released. This case is still an active investigation.
