Update: Missing 9-Year-Old Found Safe

A missing nine-year-old boy, whom CMPD reported missing Sunday morning after he was last seen at his home in west Charlotte, has been found safe, CMPD confirmed on X.

Police sent out a public’s assistance request at 10:22 a.m. Sunday for help finding Hunter Murray.

However, CMPD said just after 2 p.m. that Murray was located safely.
