CHARLOTTE, N.C. – CMPD detectives are investigating a homicide that took place on Kingsford Drive, according to a news release.
The release states that officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call on the evening of May 27 on Kingsford Drive, near South Boulevard in south Charlotte. The victim was found with a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead on the scene.
The victim has been identified as 54-year-old Claudiano Espinosa.
