Discussion:
We’ve got a beautiful set up for the next few days with plenty of sunshine, and drier air. Highs today will reach the mid 80s. It will be a bit breezy in the mountains with winds out of the northwest and gusts around 30 mph possible.
High pressure over the Great Lakes will keep it a bit cooler and more dry through Thursday and Friday. Overnight lows will fall into the 50s with daytime highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s. An upper level disturbance will sweep across the region Thursday evening, but conditions will be a bit too dry to support much in the way of rain chances.
Temps begin to warm up this weekend. Highs will climb back into the mid 80s Saturday as high pressure slides off the east coast allowing moisture to stretch back into the region. Humidity will become more noticeable Sunday with chance afternoon showers and storms. This typical summer-like pattern will extend into early next week with warm and muggy conditions and scattered afternoon storms.
