LINCOLNTON, N.C. – Deputies are investigating an attempted armed robbery of an armored truck in Lincoln County on Thursday afternoon, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
It happened next to a business on Webbs Road and NC 16 in Denver, North Carolina around 12:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Officials said the suspect was a black man armed with a handgun, driving a white sedan.
