ROCK HILL, S.C. – Two people are dead and two others were injured in a shooting at a neighborhood block party in Rock Hill on Saturday night, according to the Rock Hill Police Department.
Police said officers heard gunshots around 10 p.m. Saturday on Southland Drive near Mount Holly Road.
Upon arrival, officers located a 44-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said they also located a 25-year-old woman, who sustained a gunshot wound and received treatment by EMS.
Later that night, police said a 24-year-old man went to Piedmont Medical Center with a minor gunshot graze wound he confirmed was from the Southland Drive shooting.
Police did not say if they identified or had any leads on the potential suspect.
This shooting is under active investigation.
