CHARLOTTE, N.C. – No injuries were reported in a two-alarm fire in south Charlotte early Wednesday morning.
It happened just after 1 a.m. at a vacant warehouse on South Boulevard near Scaleybark Road. Around 1:30 a.m., a second alarm was initiated.
Firefighters contained the fire in approximately 47 minutes. No civilians or firefighters were injured from the fire.
Charlotte Fire said that the rear door to the warehouse was unsecured and that there was evidence of vagrant activity inside. The fire caused an estimated $50,000 in damages.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
