Unbelievable Photos Show Vehicle Dangling From 6th Floor Parking Deck In Uptown Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte Fire Department released photos showing a car dangling from the 6th floor of a parking deck in Uptown Charlotte.

The incident was reported early Thursday morning at the intersection of North Church Street and West Sixth Street.

Firefighters were able to facilitate a plan to get the vehicle stabilized. The vehicle was unoccupied, according to CFD. The road was closed while crews worked to get the vehicle back to a safe position.

After tireless efforts by first responders, the vehicle was stabilized and the incident was controlled in 41 minutes, according to CFD. CMPD will be investigating the accident. No other details have been released at this time.
