GASTONIA, N.C. – One person is dead and another is in the hospital after a shooting in Gastonia on Friday night.
It happened at approximately 10 p.m. around Pine Street and Shamrock Road near Hickory Grove Road.
When police arrived to the scene, they located two people suffering from gunshot wounds.
Both were transported to the hospital where one person died, and the other is in stable condition at this time, officials said.
Police said they have identified everyone involved in the shooting and that there is no threat to the general public.
