COLUMBIA, S.C. – 48-year-old Edward Baines was arrested after soliciting a minor for sex, according to a news release.
The release states that Baines was in contact with a person he believed to be a minor and solicited them for sex and sent sexually explicit images to that person.
He was arrested on June 7 and charged with eight counts of criminal solicitation of a minor and two counts of attempted dissemination of obscene material to a person under 18-years-old. Both charges are felony offenses and each count on both are punishable of up to ten years of imprisonment.
